Lessons Learned

What helped

Coastal's outage planner gave us early borescope access — we caught R1 bucket distress before mobilization and re-planned the disassembly.

What hurt

Even with early access the added bucket scope grew disassembly ~4 days; the bid hours didn't carry that contingency.

Client feedback

Plant manager valued the daily findings reports and no-surprise change orders.

Assumptions / what to do differently

Make confirmed pre-outage borescope access a hard gate before bidding 7FA major hours.
